This is exciting news for me as Hayate the Combat Butler is one of my favorite anime series and manga. The new series will be an original story written by the author Kenjirou Hata and will not be based off the original manga. Many of the original cast members will be returning for their roles from the previous seasons and the studio Manglobe will be animating the series as they did the movie (which I still haven't seen). The series is set to premiere something this October during the fall season.
